A new update – I am now a buyer for the company. Probably the most fun I’ve ever had in the car biz, and I’ve been in this game since 1989. We are revolutionizing the business. We have an expanding fleet of mobile offices – specially outfitted 4WD SUV’s – and we’ll go to the customer’s home, do an onsite evaluation, and if they like the numbers we’ll cut a check right on the spot. We’ll have a transporter at their house in the next couple days to pick the car up but the main thing is that the customer is paid before we take the car. Customers love this process as they get to remain within their comfort zones – and we get to meet some really nice, interesting people.
My position keeps me in the showrooms, I’m not a mobile buyer – but I can work out of any of our locations. 99% of the time I stay in Princeton but if they want me in Toms River tomorrow, all I need is an open desk and I’m good to go. LOVE IT!!!!
