Trucks and SUVs leading the way.

Gas prices are cheap, people have jobs, finance is super easy. I think those three things combined is the reason for this trend.

Cheap dollars and tons of sub-par loans.

    Party like its 2007!

Check out Lincoln, up 19% this month! Who would have ever imagined that 5 years ago?

Yes, it is good to see Lincoln up that much. As has been said, by me included, they didn’t have much further to fall so sales being up (while great to see) is still “a work in progress”, as far as I am concerned.

I am truly excited by the new Continental, as I think it is a smart direction for Ford/Lincoln to be taking. I know it ride and drive very well, but it doesn’t appear to be chasing the performance ‘angle’. Developing a new large sedan that will be attempting to redefine “American Luxury” is brilliant.

I do think that one vehicle (much like the CTS for Cadillac) could spell even better things for sales next year.
