I’m getting really tired of people paying more attention to the phone and being oblivious to the traffic around them. It’s obvious what you are doing when you are on the roads staring at your lap.

I swear people are always on their phone when crossing the street like look up real quick and see if there’s a car.

I see that all the time here as well. I guess people just assume driver’s are always paying attention to what’s in front of them.

A few gas station’s have had a practice of changing two different prices for gas. One price for cash and a higher price for debit and credit. I just ovoid those stations. However the practice seems to be growing. Now I have at least four gas station’s around me doing it. It’s starting to piss me off. I like most people now don’t carry much cash on me at any given time. I’m sure the station’s are aware most people aren’t carrying cash now days. So I know it’s a money grab making gas station’s a ton.

I have yet to see that in my area but retailers are charged interchange fees on all credit card transactions, with smaller retailers (like gas stations) getting hit the hardest.

That would be very inconvenient. I never carry cash when I am in California, instead paying for everything via my card. Since being in Asian for a year, I’ve gotten used to carrying around cash and coins. 90% of the establishments here only accept cash. Same in Japan – cash cash cash. I hate touching dirty coins and cash, you just never know where its been.

It seems lumber yards and home improvement stores should offer more full size spaces and fewer compact spaces for parking. I don’t know how many people are picking up lumber in a clown car.

I want a new, or at least newer truck bad. So I went to the local dealer and found used trucks from 30 to 50K. Guess what I did.
