So for months I have discussed with my father about trading in my 2005 Honda Pilot for something more, lets just say more fun to drive. My only requirements were that it’s practical, reliable and it won’t cost much more to replace it.
Well ladies and gents I found a suitable replacement.

It checks out all the right boxes, and it has a stick! Now I will admit that this car makes the Pilot feel like a Rolls-Royce but it seems to fit my personality (even though I’m not the biggest truck guy) and it seems like it’s good. The only thing is that the price is a wee bit too high (I think 7500 is a better price) but I’ll see what I’m going to do. I’m going to check out the car today, so I’ll post back about how it is. What do you guys think? Is it a good truck? Do any of you have experience with the Colorado/Canyon/whatever the Isuzu was?

Since I have no idea what the heck you are looking to buy (Isuzu?),  I will just say good luck with whatever it is.

Looks pretty good, zeep.  I really don’t know a whole lot about those GM pickups.  Is the 5 cylinder Isuzu sourced?  Is that why you were asking about that earlier?

The only thing I would say is that it does seem a bit dear as far as pricing goes.  Maybe they have a lot of room to deal?

    Good luck!

I checked it out. The truck looked really good except for the fact that there were no rear jump seats in the car which I really want. I unfortunately had to walk away because my Pilot isn’t worth much, and I need to do a full-on trade, I can’t spend much more than a grand or so. I decided it makes more sense to just drive it until it dies or start making a real steady income.

Isn’t this a like year to like year deal?

Surprised that the Pilot isn’t anywhere near the value of the GM.

But, from an economic standpoint, if that is what it is you are making a god choice to run what ya’ got already.
