As the story goes; in a warehouse somewhere in Indiana, sat the forgotten concept car built for a potential but failed merger of Studebaker with Citroen.

With the help of experts in researching and reconstructing this lost car, here are rendered images of what it may have looked like. Read the full article and story of this car here https://vintageracecar.com/citroen-avant/

*In addition to creating the images used for this article, I also created these convertible versions.

So now, if you didn’t read the story or haven’t realized, this was a fictional account with the written storyline and images specifically intended for “what if..”  🙂

    Thanks for looking!  😉

Well, it would have been nice if Studebaker could have merged with some partner that could have allowed it to continue to compete.

The Avant was a very spectacular car that could have become legendary with further development.

I like the evolution of the Avant here!

As unlikely as it would seem the idea of a Citroen/Studebaker merger back in those days, the merger of Citroen and Studebaker styling is a ‘hit’ to my eyes.

Thanks, the story was written by a well known professor (instructor) of automotive design. I just collaborated in making the images to accompany it with his guidance towards making the car appear as it likely would have.
