    Good on ya’, Jay.

Almost everyone I know really likes their new Escapes (even my ex who is on her 4th Escape).

The only ‘gripe’ I have heard is that they are not using the same tires they had on the previous models. The one my ex now has more pedestrian all seasons that just don’t have the tread depth her last Escape had. It makes winter driving a bit more of a chore.

Other than that, the EB motor is much better than the V6 she had and she gets better fuel economy than she ever got with her other Escapes (including an ’09 4 cylinder XLT we had when we were together).

    So, congrats and enjoy!

I picked up the Escape on Saturday morning.

Wow, what an improvement in terms of drive quality compared to my 10 Escape.  The 2.0 Ecoboost has so much low end power.

I also love the push button start.  I am not sure how about the power liftgate yet.  Just seems odd not to pull it down but I’m sure I’ll get over that soon.

My biggest complaint is about the heated seats controls.  It’s a dial from 0 to 4.  No on/off switch.  So if I set it say 3, it says there until I turn it off at 0 .

If I get a free moment today at the office, I’ll try to post a pic.

What’s the reason for buying a new Escape? Kids or camping trips with your wife/husband?

The sun roof on the Escape is HUGE!  It really baths the car in tons of spring sun light.

What do you guys think of the color?

I didn’t want white(color of my Fusion), black or grey because it seems that so many cars are both of these colors but now I’m wondering if the blue is too much for a more mature male.

I have been getting pics to load as was suggested by copying the URL’s. However, they post by switching to the “Visual” setting and then copying in by using the picture tab there.
